As a member of the Academy since 2000, I have had the great pleasure of setting small works on students over the years in a couple of different respects – as choreographer for their senior capstone performance work; as choreographer for our department and institution’s mainstage concerts; and in experimental and process related formats — all of which are enriching in both directions, for these great young artists and certainly for myself. They have taught me as much as I have taught them.
